The Matrix says:

Since you are hoping for slightly better quality without having to work too hard, look hard at a more expensive, higher-end Keurig machine. Additionally, seek out more expensive pods until you find something that you like.

Another option is just to, um, not make coffee at home. Drip coffee at most coffee shops is actually kind of cheap if you don’t go for fancier beverages and get sucked into buying snacks. You will pay perhaps twice as much as making K-Cups at home, but you will get better quality.

There are a lot of drawbacks because of the convenience of pods, so check out a drip coffee maker before you commit, or at least consider a Keurig with a ground coffee option. You’ll save money up front and in the long run, and your coffee quality will have the potential to be much better.
