The Matrix says:

Since you don’t really care what the coffee tastes like and you don’t want to spend a lot of time and effort, a pod machine may be perfect for you. Typically, you fill a water reservoir on the machine, add a pod, and press a button. A minute or two later, you have a cup of coffee. The two main brands are Keurig (K-Cups) and Nespresso, though the latter is much more oriented towards more concentrated, espresso-like coffee.

For all of those reasons, check out a drip coffee maker before you commit to a pod machine. You’ll save money up front and in the long run, and your coffee quality will have the potential to be much better.
